We are the Lattanzi Family, and for over sixty years we’ve lived and breathed shoes, leather, and genuine human relationships. Our story begins in 1964, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, with a simple footwear stall. Our father, still very young, split his days between working at a campsite in the morning and a shoe shop in the afternoon. Our mother, not yet 18, stood by his side with determination and passion, learning the trade day after day. When our father left for military service, our mother ran the market almost single-handedly for over a year, helped by our grandfather, who drove the van since she wasn’t yet of legal age. This is where our way of working comes from: sacrifice, expertise, and a love for the product. Over time, our parents built a deep knowledge of the footwear industry, learning to recognize and select quality leathers, artisanal craftsmanship, and production techniques that truly make a difference in a shoe. Shoes in our DNA My brother and I grew up among markets and artisan workshops. Our summer holidays weren’t spent at holiday resorts, but in shoemaking workshops in the Marche, Tuscany, and Veneto regions — territories that symbolize Italy’s manufacturing tradition. Between workshop visits, the seaside of Marche and Abruzzo — our father’s home region — provided the backdrop to an upbringing built on hard work, respect for the product, and genuine passion. That’s why we say shoes are in our DNA. Today: tradition and a modern vision Today, we proudly carry on our family’s footwear tradition, still working with small Italian artisan companies, personally selected for the quality of their materials and craftsmanship. Alongside this, we’ve expanded our search to Spanish and Portuguese suppliers who share our same attention to quality and manufacturing. This evolution is how our digital workshop was born. We don’t call it an online shop, because we’re not just an e-commerce store. We want to bring to the web what has always set us apart in the markets: direct human connection, expert advice, and the responsibility of standing behind what we offer. We don’t just sell shoes. We help you choose the right one. We believe that choosing the right shoe — whether it’s a men’s or women’s leather shoe, comfortable, elegant, or for everyday wear — requires listening and experience.
